You have built a good business. When important decisions, priorities and planning still depend heavily on you,
growth can become harder than it needs to be.
The Business Plan & Action Program gives you clarity, a practical plan and three months of support to help you
focus on the right priorities and build a business that depends less heavily on you.

The Business Plan & Action Program gives you clarity, a practical plan and three months of support to help you focus on the right priorities and build a business that depends less heavily on you.
You may have customers, steady revenue and capable people helping deliver the work. But if you're still the person everyone looks to for the important decisions, every opportunity can create more questions, more decisions and more pressure on your time.
Most days can feel like you're moving from one priority to the next. Customers need you, your team has questions, cash flow needs watching, and there's never quite enough time to work on improving the business. Without a clear plan, today's urgent work keeps pushing tomorrow's improvements further away.
That does not mean you have built the business badly. It may simply mean the approach that helped build your business is no longer giving you the time, financial control or freedom you want from its next stage.

You may recognise one or more of these:
"There is too much in my head."
"I know I need a proper plan, but I do not know where to start."
"Everything still comes back to me."
"I am working harder, but I am not sure the business is becoming more profitable."
"I want more time to lead the business, not just keep up with it."

A personalised business review, practical business plan and supported pathway into action.
This is not a generic planning template. The program begins by understanding where your business stands today, what is working well and which priorities deserve closer attention.
The findings are discussed with you and used to develop a practical plan around your business, your circumstances and the decisions you need to make next.
The final stage turns the plan into clear priorities, responsibilities and practical action - so it becomes a working guide rather than something that sits in a folder.
The program is tailored to established, owner-led service businesses and begins once we agree that it suits the business and what the plan needs to cover.

When the direction, priorities and key decisions remain mainly in your head, decisions take longer and other
people continue to rely on you for answers. That limits the time you have to lead, improve and grow the business.
Customer needs, cash flow questions, people issues, growth opportunities and unfinished improvements can all feel important. Without a clear plan, resources can be spread too thin and the work most likely to strengthen revenue, margin or capacity may keep being delayed.
A decision may be clear in the moment, but progress can stall when responsibility, milestones, information or
review points are not defined. The work comes back to you, implementation slows and the business remains more dependent on your availability than it needs to be.

A structured working session to understand the business, the reason for planning, the decisions the plan must support and what you want the business to provide personally and financially.
A guided review of the business across the areas relevant to planning, decision -making and follow -through. The benchmark is not a pass -or-fail exercise.
Ken reviews the findings and prepares a tailored report identifying what appears to be working well, where time, financial visibility or owner dependence may need attention, the patterns that matter and the recommended place to begin.
A focused session to interpret the report, test the findings against your experience, clarify the one or two priorities most likely to improve focus, financial performance or owner freedom, and agree on what the business plan needs to address.
A professional business plan developed around your business, your objectives and the agreed priorities, written to guide decisions, resource use and action, not simply describe the business.
The business plan includes the immediate priorities, responsibilities, milestones and review points needed to help the important work move forward. These are managed as practical tasks through the fortnightly sessions.
A working review of the plan so you understand the reasoning, can ask questions and can confirm that it reflects the business accurately. Two rounds of reasonable revisions are included during the three -month program.
Six personalised Microsoft Teams sessions are scheduled across the three -month program, generally fortnightly. One session is a 90 -minute report and planning debrief; the other five are 60 minutes. The sessions provide support, guidance and accountability as you make decisions, refine the plan and begin implementation.

Step 1 - Discuss the program
Begin with a short suitability conversation. Together, we discuss why you need a plan, what is taking too much time or attention,
what you want the business to achieve and whether the Business Plan & Action Program is the appropriate next step.
Step 2 - Agree on what the program will cover and get started
Once we agree that the program suits your business, we confirm what it will cover, arrange payment and begin with the needs
analysis and business benchmark. You provide the information needed to understand the business properly.
Step 3 - Receive your personalised report and debrief
Ken reviews the findings, prepares your Business Position Report and takes you through it in a 90 -minute personalised debrief.
Together, we agree on the priorities most likely to improve focus, financial performance and owner freedom.
Step 4 - Build the practical business plan
The agreed findings, supporting information and your business objectives are developed into a tailored plan. You review the
draft and can use the two included revision rounds to help confirm that the final plan reflects the business accurately.
Step 5 - Begin putting the plan into action
The plan is translated into immediate priorities, responsibilities and review points. The fortnightly sessions provide support and
guidance as you begin the work, make decisions and adjust the plan when circumstances change.
A good plan starts with an honest view of what is working, where time and money are being stretched, and what the business needs next.

The program runs for three months. It includes six personalised Microsoft Teams sessions, generally held fortnightly. One session is a 90 -minute personalised report and planning debrief; the remaining five sessions
are 60 minutes.
The information depends on why you need the plan and what it needs to cover. It may include an overview of the business, services, customers, team or contractors, current priorities, operational information and relevant financial records. You will receive a clear request list after onboarding.
Allow approximately 15 minutes to complete the benchmark when adding brief comments. It is designed to capture an honest view of the business today rather than perfectly polished answers.
No. The Personalised Business Position Report identifies what appears to be working well as well as the areas that may deserve attention. The purpose is to establish a balanced, practical starting point for the plan.
Yes. The plan is built from the needs analysis, benchmark findings, personalised debrief, supporting information and your objectives. It is not simply a standard template populated without context.
The plan can be developed around a defined purpose, including growth, finance, grants or partnerships where appropriate.
It cannot guarantee approval, and some applications may require separate financial, legal or specialist documentation.
Financial forecasts may be included where they are appropriate to the purpose of the plan, sufficient information is available and Upmetrics is used to develop the plan. Any forecasts are planning projections based on information and assumptions supplied b y the client. They do not constitute accounting, taxation or financial advice and should be reviewed with an accountant or appropriately qualified adviser where
required.
Two rounds of reasonable revisions are included during the three -month program. Revisions must remain within the agreed purpose and focus of the business plan. Additional work or a significant change in direction may be quoted separately.
Support and guidance are provided through six personalised Microsoft Teams sessions across the three - month program, generally held fortnightly. The later sessions help refine the plan, clarify decisions and begin implementing the agreed priorities. Any sup port between scheduled sessions will be stated in the final
proposal.
Business information provided during the engagement will be treated confidentially in accordance with the service agreement and privacy obligations. Any testimonial, case study or client identification requires
separate permission.
Yes. The program is designed to be delivered through Microsoft Teams. Face -to-face support may also be available across Ipswich, Greater Brisbane and South East Queensland where appropriate and agreed.
After you submit your enquiry, we arrange a short conversation to understand why you need a plan, answer your questions and confirm whether the Business Plan & Action Program suits your business. If we agree to proceed, you will receive the confirmed progr am , service agreement, payment information and onboarding steps.
You do not need to arrive with every answer, and you do not need to change everything at once.
Start with an honest view of what is working, where time and money are being stretched and what needs attention first.
Then build a practical plan and use three months of guidance to begin turning it into better decisions,
stronger financial focus and more freedom from the day-to-day.
